Well, he won't be playing Spartacus from now on, as he lost his fight with non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Rest in Peace, Andy Whitfield.
I hope that the rest of the guys I listed in my Cutie Nobodies list get to live.
When people were made, there were some pieces left - enough to make one more person. That's me. I'm leftovers.

RIP Brittany
So, Brittany Murphy is the latest celeb death... I sure hope she didn't OD like everyone in Hollywood tends to. The latest gossip states flu like symptoms. I hope it wasn't H1N1. People of 32 don't usually just kick the bucket, not even diabetics.
Someone even had the guts to say that because she has a hit single with Paul Oakenfold, she must be a druggie. Not everyone who listens or produces trance or other electronic stuff takes drugs ffs! I have NEVER taken drugs, not even weed. Fuckers. Excuse the language.
Everyone's going on about Brittany's movies and how she was a talented actress and a singer too, but I remember her only as the troubled kid in Prophecy II.. is that lame?

Rest In Peace, Stan Winston
It's a shame that basically no one noticed the news on Stan Winston's death.
Hey, Stan Winston, people! You've been watching his work for decades now!
How about a short reminder Make-up, special effects in, creature designs: Constantine, Terminator(s), Iron Man, Artificial Intelligence, Aliens, Predator...
Rest In Peace, Stan Winston. The world will miss your imagination.

Yesterday Was When You Died

God loved the birds and invented trees. Man loved the birds and invented cages. -Jacques Deval
I just keep thinking..
She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back. She didn't fight back.
And..
What if she hoped we were there to save her.. What was her last though. Are they capable of thought like us? What if she hoped my hand would come and take her away...?
And..
Would it be different now if we had kept the door open? She could've flown out to safety...
And..
I didn't look at the cage when I went to the kitchen first thing in the morning. I didn't look. What if she was still alive? What if I could've helped her?
It's funny that when I heard about my uncle, I couldn't have cared less, but when my pet bird died, I cried. I have actually been crying for eight hours now.
Her roommate, the white one, DOES miss her and this is not me humanizing it. I've been watching their behavior for over a year now and I know now that she is confused. It broke my heart when she was going on the floor, pecking at the rug and doing her "meep" sound which they used in order to know where the other one was. No reply. She did it again a couple of times, then went to the place where the other one used to peck the oven and "meep". Now it's all quiet. I cannot believe how much I miss that sound. And I feel sorry for the white one who is now all alone.
"In the night of death, hope sees a star, and listening love can hear the rustle of a wing."
-Robert Ingersoll

Today Was When You Died
Today was a particulary fine spring day: The sun was shining from a bright blue sky and the wind blew softly from the East. There is no snow at all and I already saw green grass growing by the wall. Today was the perfect day to believe in soul, believe in angels and believe in god. Today was a particulary fine day to die, but not for you.
I woke up, did what I usually do during the day and paid no attention. I walked by at least ten times today and never checked if you were okay. You were lying there the whole day and I didn't even notice. I talked to you and expected no answer, like always. You never answered to me anyway, so I didn't mind.
J found you there, laying on your tummy, in the corner. He called me and cried. I couldn't look at you for more than just a second. But that second was enough for me to see you were dead. For the rest of my life I will remember how calm and soft you were, just laying there. I hoped you were still alive but your cold body told me the grim reality. You were there no longer.
I know you died when I was sleeping. I didn't hear if you called for help or suffered long before the release finally came. I don't know what were your last thoughts of if you were capable of thinking anymore. I don't understand why you didn't fight back. I can't understand why you were picked and not someone else less important to us.
I know who killed you but though I tried, I couldn't revenge your death. I looked at his eyes but instead of anger I felt pity. I'm sorry. It would've been so easy to me - just a quick snap - but it wasn't really his fault. It was mine. I brought him to your life and - trust me - it will haunt me for a long time.
Today was a particulary fine day to realize there is no god. Because if there were, everyone would die of old age rather than by someone else's actions.
Tomorrow J will look up a good place for what's left of you. It will be somewhere under a tree so there is shelter for you. He'll make sure that the sun will shine there and the wind won't be too harsh.
And though you were just a bird, I have shed more tears than the day my first love was buried.
Because you were my own.
Good bye, Täplä. I will remember the white of your wings and how beautiful your feathers look like even at death. I will remember how you used to groom my fingers and I think I can still hear the sound your wings made when you flew. Your color will stay in my thoughts and I hope one day I'll see someone like you and can imagine it's you.
Oh, by the way, Lumikki is calling out for you and doesn't understand. You weren't there today and she's looking for you. She's alone for there is no one to sleep by her side anymore. But lucky for her, she doesn't understand and in time will forget about you..
I wonder if my heart will ever mend
I just let you slip away
4 am forever

Good Night, Sweet Prince..
Have a nice journey and say hi to the stars above, Heath Ledger.
The whatever religious group in where-ever US have stated that it's good that Heath is dead. Personally I think this group is full of brainwashed nutcases and I hope they don't get to keep their children and teach them the same fucked up beliefs.
If I were to run the US, I'd patch up a law that states all the religiously overactive parents should be arrested and their children taken away. And all the foster homes should be non-religious. It's sick that a nation that doesn't allow teaching religions (from a historic point of view) allows these nutcases to "spread their word".
I don't care if the adults take on the looney stuff, but I think life is too short for the children to be ruined. Religioius opinions and actions are a form of terrorism. They attack my eyes, ears and thoughts though not my body.
In Finland, where I went to high school, religion was taught at school. I was evangelic lutheran, but my catholic, protestant, orthodox and atheist friends had their own classes. Nowadays the immigrant muslims have their own classes too, though I've heard they are taught the act of religion, not the history or the why's. At our classes, it wasn't this preaching -kind of studying or reading the bible (though it was read at couple of occasions), but a theological study of what is thought to have happened, what became of it and why. Though I have been in church only eight times in my life, I enjoyed the classes because of the teacher who was really good at what he was doing and NEVER tried to convert us to anything more than what we were. Though he was deeply religious himself, he never let it show and was objective in his points of view. That is how religion should be taught!
I don't like it that there is a state church in many countries (but at least the british have finally done something about it). And I don't like the muslims. I'm sorry to say it and I would probably get into the hatelist of some people, but I simply can't stand the idea of that religion. I must, however, remind myself of the crusades, but at least the christians learned their lessons a few hundred years ago. I have read the quran, and have never found the reasoning to how they use women, children and that book - to gain their own earthly desires. A real believer would cherish that faith, not state it to everyone nearby. And NOT beat up women for speaking their minds. But I don't like the women either. They are succumbed to this.. this state of half existing, being half-wit and half-minded. That cannot be a good religion that takes away someones' value as a human.
I just wish that my country would accept all muslim unmarried women as refugees. Why only unmarried? Because I wouldn't want the men here. The men are the ones who commit crimes in this country, the men are the ones who beat up women, cheat the social security and drive better cars than normal families that work their butts out. The unmarried women would be safe and they could continue to practice their religion, but be free to go to school, shopping, working, anything they would want. And maybe marry a honest normal guy, who would listen to her opinion, let her decide for herself... But the poor things are so brainwashed, they cannot know of anything better..
I don't understand the work of the missionaries. Do they really think that the people in Africa were grateful for the religion? They were just happy that they got help in infrastructure, food production and the civic stuff. I bet that most of the people in Africa are as much as pagan as us newly born pagans, but they go to church to get lessons in reading and writing and possibly some clear water. If I ruled the world, I would forbid the spreading of the religions AND would deny any country from having a state church. I would allow teaching of the religion, but as a psychological and historic study. I wouldn't allow state money to build up churches, monasteries or mosques and wouldn't allow religious programs in radio or TV.
Religions have bought nothing but war and blooshedding and false friendship on this planet. Start counting from the year 3000 BC and see how many wars or murders were caused because of religion. Even the calendar is off. I was stated to born 1981, but my real year of birth would be, what, 8049?
Hey, I went off-topic.
How surprising.
Well anyway, good night, Ledger. Happy decomp, as we normal non-religious monkeys would state.

Congrats, Sputnik!
It's been 50 years from the launch of Sputnik 1.
"Beep, beep, beep", it said.
Then it crashed and burned..
Rest In Peace, Sputnik.
