More Hubble & Some Heavenly Creatures

NASA just launched a site for the mission to repair Hubble. Go see it.

"..And we’ll also be installing a soft capture mechanism on the bulk head of Hubble that will help facilitate a future mission to Hubble, primarily for the purpose of de-orbiting it at the end of its useful life.."

I cried. :(

My zebra finch babies are growing so fast. They started taking longer flights yesterday. I felt so bad because I suddenly realized they deserve to be free. They will never feel the wind beneath their wings, never perch on a tree enjoying sunlight. I know they wouldn't survive in the wild if I managed to get them to Australia but I would like them to be go there.

For a light ending I present a medieval bog:

The Kiss

Yet another kiss dream:

I've kissed this person in a dream once before, but this time I hadn't even thought about him for ages. We used to spend some time together before J came along, but have grown distant through the years. He has kissed me in real life, so I know how weird the dream is.

So, we were at a party somewhere and I saw him. He came towards me, chatted with me and J and as soon as J got out of sight, he kissed me. In real life, he's not into kissing, so I was surprised even in the dream. The kiss was very passionate, long and.. umm.. wet. I was thunderstuck when he stopped. Then he pulled me further away from people and started acting very

According to dreammoods "If you are kissing a close friend, then it represents your respect and adoration for your friend. You are seeking some intimate closeness that is lacking in some waking relationship. It may or may not signify a romantic interest for him or her."

Not romantic interest, definitely not, but I think that is true on the whole. That ship sailed years ago. So, I guess this was just one of my quirks on the dream front.

I have been on a very good mood today, smiling all the time. I wonder if it's because of the dream..

Also, I happened to bumb into this guy I dated for a very short time before I met J. He remembered me, but didn't even greet. I don't remember his name anymore. After all, we went out for three weeks or so.. Well, I left him because he was a wuss. He's still handsome as hell, though. Wuss.

Something Is Coming

A few old ladies have said the same thing: When animals that usually try to avoid humans, approach people, something huge and bad will happen. An old man once said: "When animals start to approach people in numbers, a war is coming.."

This spring, A LOT of wild animals have been reported to visit gardens, yards and towns, so much it has made the newspapers.

I was so scared when I heard the Russian president Medvedev was visiting my country. I thought that if Russians wanted to get rid of their puppet president and "ask" Putin to take control again, my country would be good for it. They have started a war once before by blaming us for shooting at them (like a country this small would actually be stupid enough to start arguing with a country tens of times the size and population of our own). Shooting their president would be a good excuse. Well, Medvedev is out and we're still at peace.

Oh, and if war (with anyone) comes and if I survive the initial attack, I will MOST DEFINITELY join the nearest underground army. And if we go, I swear I'll take at least a hundred attackers with me.

Good Luck, Atlantis! Happy Birthday Hubble!

The shuttle 'Atlantis' is soon launching to a dangerous mission.

The mission? Repair Hubble.

The ones who have been reading my ramblings might remember that I feel very deeply for Hubble. I love the pictures it has taken, I love the idea that it has brought so much information from the surroundings of this planet, so I love Hubble. I was devastated after the first reports of its possible shutdown. I'm glad they decided to repair it instead of just abandon it or whats worse: burn it.

I hope the mission is a success and that everyone will return home safe.

So, thanks NASA!

Oh, and yesterday was Hubbles' 19th Birthday!

Oh, and as a sidenote: I heard Stephen Hawking has been hospitalized. Hope he still has the strength to keep living and fighting ALS.

"I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image."

Why Does It Always Happen To My Favorite Characters?

Why, oh why do they ALWAYS get rid of all the good characters and why?

I understand the character of Gil Grissom from CSI. He was through with it himself. With Gil and Sara gone, there was no reason to watch it.

I was furious for Ghost Whisperer killing Jim and merging him with new-agy stuff. That was one series not to watch.

Now Kutner from House! He quit house to take a position as associate director for the Obama administration's Office of Public Liaison! WTF? For that!? Goddamn political shit! I still haven't decided if I quit watching.

What's next? Patrick Jane -character quits Mentalist?

We Got To Let Norway Know..

South Park did it again! The reason we've bought all seasons on DVD is right there in the 13th episode, the essence of South Park!

Finland gets nuked and for what? Because of Randy and Stan cheated on Pinewood Derby and by doing that started a huge chain of lies that go up to intergalactic level. I like the way Finland is portrayed here. Although the president in real life is not a man as in this episode, but the ever famous Tarja from Conan O'Brien Show (r.i.p show). I guess they mixed the prime minister with the president.

"We got to let Norway know, they were pretty close.." cracked us up. I bet our neighbors enjoyed our nightly laugh-a-rama.

By the way, Matt & Trey, Norway doesn't like Finland. Nobody likes Finland, not even the Finns!
