One of my favorite hymns, composed by the great Sibelius of Finland, has lyrics in English, which I never knew. I heard it sung by a great young singer, David Archuleta. Finlandia is very beautiful sung (in Finnish) by a Finnish choir Cantores Minores as well, but I must say it has never brought tears to my eyes before though I have always felt it.
I know many hymns are borrowed from other languages, but I didn't have an idea a Finnish composer actually is that famous. I'm sure Finland has at least one artist to be proud of.
